WVU’s Gabe Osabuohien signing custom autograph posters and frames

Former West Virginia forward Gabe Osabuohien has teamed up with Dale Sparks to sign custom autograph posters and frames. Send a direct message to Osabuohien at Twitter to buy one.

Osabuohien spent three seasons in West Virginia after being traded from Arkansas in 2019. The fifth-year senior played in 87 games from 2019-22, averaging 3.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1, 9 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.4 blocks. Osabuohien won the 2022 Co-Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year award, sharing the honor with Oklahoma State’s Moussa Cisse and Baylor’s Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua.

West Virginia fans will always remember Osabuohien for the toughness he brought to court. The Ontario native was WVU’s “glue guy” during his time in college and was highly respected at the Big 12 conference.

“I tell our guys we need a Gabe Osabuohien,” Oklahoma State head coach Mike Boynton said this season.

Osabuohien was not known for his scoring, but was known to change the match outcome in every other way.

“I tried to get someone like that, it’s hard to find guys like that,” WVU head coach Bob Huggins said. “He doesn’t really care about scoring. He changes the game.”
