A pair of Starbucks employees have gone viral on TikTok after debunking another user who claimed the coffee chain scammed its customers.

TikToker and famous musician Sueco have gone viral on the video-sharing platform after claiming the company ‘scammed’ customers with cup sizes.

Her video, posted on June 5, garnered more than 15 million views in just a few days for showing that coffee poured into their smallest cup size, large, actually fills the cup of their largest size, venti.

Now two real Starbucks employees have made a video showing how Sueco may have faked their popular video.

Starbucks is a popular destination for coffee lovers of all kinds, especially those who like to add extra stuff to their drinks.

Starbucks employees denounce a viral “scam” on TikTok

TikToker and Starbucks employee Jill Elyse posted a duet to the popular Starbucks scam video and showed the test didn’t exactly hold up.

Jill, along with her colleague, took the three sizes offered by the coffee chain, tall, large and venti, and swapped the liquid between them.

The pair test showed that the cafe was not overflowing as Sueco claimed, leaving many in the comments section to believe that Sueco had faked the video.

One user said, “It never shows the inside of the cup before the liquid is poured out. Guess it has a piece of styrofoam or something in it.

Although Sueco has yet to comment on whether he faked the video or not, users understood the likelihood that he messed up the insides of the cups to create an overflowing effect.
