DC’s CinemaCon Posters Reveal Upcoming Slate Release Dates and Logos

Warner Bros. and DC have unveiled brand new theatrical posters for several films from their superhero project slate, with an exhibit showcasing the logos of upcoming films as well as new release dates after delays to several DC films there. a few months old.

Revealed at CinemaCon, the Las Vegas-based event that kicked off earlier today, the posters on display are for Shazam! : The fury of the gods, black adam, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, the flashand League of Super Animals, with these new theater posters being the first to show the new release windows. All of the posters share a black background with the movie’s logo at its center, with the given movie’s release date sitting right below it. The poster board is complemented by a similar poster showing Warner Bros. logos. and DC in a translucent blue on the left and right, respectively.

Although it has not been confirmed, the inclusion of these posters at the event could indicate that these films have a bigger presence at the event. It’s also worth pointing out that all of these posters are for movies that have changed release dates. DC also has a slew of movies slated for release that were unaffected by the March changes and kept their previous announced release date like the Xolo Mariduena– featuring blue beetle (scheduled to premiere on August 18, 2023) or just missing a release date all together like the next bat girl HBO Max movie starring Leslie Grace. While fans are clamoring for new information on these projects as well as several others, it’s unlikely that any such information will be gleaned from the event on these projects.

DC’s movie lineup was shaken up in early March, with each of the films on display having their release dates changed, with most of them pushed back by several months. The only film that did not receive a delay was Shazam! Fury of the godswhich has been moved from its June 2, 2023 release to fill the void left by Aquaman and the Lost Kingdomtaking the premiere date of this film on December 16, 2022. The next film in this list will be League of Super Animalswhich will be released on July 29 after being delayed from May 20 and will also take the place of another DC film, black adamwhich will now hit theaters on October 21. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will arrive in theaters on March 17, 2023 and the flash will be released in theaters on June 23, 2023 instead of November 4, although the future of Flash projects and Ezra Millerit is their involvement is currently “on hiatus” and his future in the franchise is being evaluated after multiple incidents in Hawaii.
