The Adelaide Fringe Poster Design competition is officially open.

Anyone wishing to compete and have their design chosen have until July 12 to submit their best work for the iconic contest.

“Adelaide Fringe is a huge explosion of color and creativity for anyone to experience,” said Heather Croall, Director and CEO of Fringe.

“In February and March, Adelaide is showing off at her best with the magic of Fringe – it’s a time that makes our hearts sing.”

Participation in the competition is free and open to all! The design needs to be flexible in a number of ways, including being reproduced in a range of sizes, formats and in black and white.

A cash prize of $ 3,000, plus a free registration to host an event or exhibit at Fringe 2021, is awarded to the winning design.

It will be used as the cover of the Fringe Guide and throughout festival merchandise, posters, program booklets, signage and ticket booths.

“This marginal era is unlike any other,” continues Heather. “We’re looking for artwork that captures the love and pride people have for the Fringe, a design that celebrates the city’s transformation to make it the best time of the year.”
